Recent Happenings!

Hi Friends!

I am always amazed how busy the "off season" is and how quickly it goes by! Are we really on the verge of Wedding season? Yes, we are. May 1st is the official kick off of the all of the Weddings!

I have had a very inspirational off season this year. I am so thankful for the education and confidence in myself and business I have gained over the last few months. A huge reason for this was the Catersource conference I attended at the end of march in Las Vegas. It was beyond amazing. Vegas it's self was such a blast and the 84 degree heat was a nice break from the PNW drizzle. But honestly, this conference could have been held in the middle of a corn field in Nebraska and I would have loved it just as much. I has the pleasure of working with my favorite local venue the Neuwaukum Wedding and Event Hall last weekend. We hosted a fun spring "garden party" inspired event for engaged couples looking for a wedding venue and caterer. It was a blast! I love working events where I get to let my creativity out and play with props and colors.

I even made a fun popcorn bar for this event. I'm not a cake fan so I LOVE doing unique food bars instead!

One of the many things that is great about this venue is it's versatility for different decor. Yes it lends it's self well to the burlap and lace "country chic" themes but you can also play around with many other styles and they work out perfectly!

I also want to give a shout-out to my favorite florist Jessica, with JNJ Floral. She made these beautiful arrangements for the centerpiece. 

Don't you just adore the pink mason jars!? Seriously, she is amazing! She also rents decor items like these lanterns. 

They added just the right feel I was going for with my buffet display. Thank you again, Jess!
